Dream the Impossible to Reality

Fifth Article in the Series:
Discover, Dare & Dream

By now you have quite a list reflecting how you want to live your life. Oh, you didn’t see that coming? That is exactly what you have been developing over the past several weeks.

Let’s put a few more specifics around that life you want to live. You have the beginnings of your vision, or perhaps even a more fleshed out vision of how you want to live your life. Begin by imagining what will be present for you when you are living the life you have begun to describe. How will you spend your days? Who will be present in your life? What will you be moving toward? Where do you live?

Describe your life in as much detail as possible. What do you wear? Who do you have lunch with? What are you doing in your work life? Does it consist of meetings with clients, negotiating business deals or writing a book?

Where are you vacationing this year? What are your hobbies? Do you have a leadership role in your church or other community organization? Are you volunteering, teaching or otherwise sharing your expertise?

I list these things only to stimulate your thinking. It is challenging for us to dream. We limit ourselves by what we can “see” only in the immediate future, or sometimes in the past. Go big! Dream beyond what is possible now and create a vision that pulls you forward.

Next week, we will put some specifics around the work you have been doing and create an action plan. For now, make sure you have the following:

  1. Your initial “Dream” document from the message, “Anticipation”.
  2. “Clean Sweep” tool completed and 1-3 items of clutter identified to clear.
  3. Your “Must Accomplish” list — see Discover the Impossible.
  4. Your “Dare” list from Dare to Attempt the Impossible.
  5. Your “Vision”, pulled from this message, Dream the Impossible to Reality.

Do you want to turn seemingly impossible dreams into reality? Then I dare you to e-mail me for a tool that will pull this all together!
